They are desolate animals. Breeding occurs in the spring, in small groups where there are 1 male and 2 – 4 females.
In 2006, Mercedes-Benz unveiled its bionic concept car, inspired by the form of yellow boxfish. It was assumed that due to the extreme variability with the boxfish cycle, their shape was airtight and self-stable.
